T.I.G is a trap/rap trio-group from Copperbelt, Zambia consisting of members Parks (Enock Chifunga), Tyler (John Chali) and Shen (Shem Mwale).

Originally the group started as friends from high school, who all had an interest in music and dance. It wasn’t until 2008 that this trio took their talent seriously, and put together and released their first project “Real Talk” in 2015. T​he group later released another Song titled “Northside” in 2016, which featured “Yceleb 408empire“, a track that was​ soon labeled a “dope-boy anthem”.

In 2016, T.I.G released their breakout single “Boomerang”. The single was produced by DJ  MoMo and peaked at number 1 off the kitwe choice awards chart. Later on they released a hot eye catching visual for the single Boomerang. Phill of Zambianmusicblog gave it 8 out of 10 stars, commenting that it “is a super-cut of Juicy North vibes” and compared the three members to quavo,takeoff and offset

The music video for the single was released on August 25. The single went on to top the Zedbase Hot 100, becoming T.I.G’ first number one single in the Zambian music industry

In January 2020, Tyler stated that STAGE EP would be released in early 2021. The Extension Playlist then delayed and re-scheduled for release in late 2021. However, the EP was pushed back again, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Parks spoke and announced the group’s decision to hold off on the release of STAGE EP, explaining it was largely due to their inability to properly roll out the EP at once
